What is the situation regarding the separation of plastic?
Often, municipalities opt to collect household waste separately (at-source separation). Increasingly, they now opt for post-separation. Here, plastic is extracted from residual waste afterwards by machines. Both collection systems ensure high-quality plastic recycling.
